Bangkok Express in Faneuil Hall offers a handful of gluten free menu options, all labeled ‘GF’ on the menu. Everything is made to order and doesn’t take too long to cook. It’s perfect for a quick and cheap meal on the go. The food is good, not the best Thai food in Boston, but then again this is fast food. The meals are a good size, prices range from $6.95 to $9.95 for an entrée.
This is good news for us! For those of you who haven’t been there, Quincy Market is a huge building filled with food stalls; they’ve got everything from Clam Chowder, to Thai to Gyros to mouth watering pastries and much much more. Just looking at the food displayed in the cases I used to cringe. Not only because it was screaming GLUTEN (lobster rolls, soups with god knows what kind of base, cookies, fried dough….I think you get the picture) but I also knew there was nothing I could eat that wouldn’t make me sick. That is until I noticed the menu at Bangkok Express! Although gluten free options are limited at Quincy Market, it is nice to know there is something there to eat!
Some of the menu options include:
Tom Yum Soup, a hot and sour soup with chicken or vegetables
Cashew Chicken Rice
